Darwin has numerous exciting festivals and events, in Darwin, on the outskirts of Darwin and in nearby areas of Australia's Northern Territory (NT). Festivals, events and lively things to see and do in Darwin include lively carnivals and parades, popular sports and horse racing events, and Darwin music and arts festivals. One of the most popular events in Darwin is the Beer Can Regatta in June, a truly unique festival featuring races for boats made completely out of beer cans.
